Super Stars Update…
This week in Super Stars we have been getting into the festive season with lots of fun arts and crafts, such as creating our Santa Claus paper plate heads and painting wooden decorations for our Christmas tree.
We have also enjoyed decorating our class door with lots of Christmas letters to Santa Claus that helped strengthen our fine motor skills, whilst encouraging us to use a tripod grip.
Following our Christmas theme this week, we decided to make a class Christmas grotto for the children to use their imagination on what sort of toys they could make for Santa’s sleigh.
We have also been practising our class performance for Super Stars parents which is called ‘sparkle and shine’ where there is a lot of fun and dancing involved, keeping the Christmas spirit bright!
Super Stars also enjoyed our weekly basketball practice with coach Craig where the children learnt how to dribble and catch their basketball.
